The Ministry of Labor announced on October 21, 2025, that effective January 1, 2026, the monthly minimum wage will be NT$29,500. Additionally, per the Executive Yuan's directive (dated Dec 30, 2024) that "the monthly salary of central government entry-level employees should be 1.1 times higher than the minimum wage," the monthly salary for such employees must be higher than NT$32,450 starting January 2026. Units employing project assistants or contract personnel (not paid from the University Endowment Fund) whose monthly salaries are below 1.1 times the 2026 minimum wage are requested to process salary adjustments. Please complete the "Application Form for Changes to Research Project Personnel" and submit it to the Personnel Office by 12:00 PM on Friday, December 26, 2025, to ensure compliance.
